What is included in the tour

• Accommodation in well-appointed rooms as mentioned in the above hotels or equivalent with the selected meal plan.
• All transfers and sightseeing-using vehicle as mentioned (Vehicle will be without the carrier)
• Driver allowances, toll taxes, Road Taxes and Parking charges and Govt. Service Tax.

What is NOT included in the tour

• Air tickets and airport taxes
• Cost for supplementary service, optional Tours, Up-gradation Charges, Guide, Sightseeing entrance fees.
• Camera / Video camera fees applicable at monuments.
• Entrance fee at Monuments as per the itinerary
• Any personal expenses such as room service and special orders of Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Any other not mentioned in inclusions

• Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Guwahati – Shillong 

Transfer from Guwahati airport/railway station to Shillong en-route visit Umium Lake. Shillong became the first
capital of the State of Meghalaya. Located in undulating pine covered hills, the city has a milder climate than tropical
India. The city centre is 1496m above sea level and currently has a population of around 270,000. Home to several
waterfalls, it is also known as the Scotland of the East. The British legacy is still visible in the architecture and food
habits of the population. Overnight at Shillong.

 

Day 02: Shillong – Dawki & Mawlynnong – Shillong 

After breakfast drive from Shillong to Dawki(Indo-Bangladesh Border) and Myallynnong Village. Morning drive to
Dawki, visit Indo-Bangladesh border and Umngot River (one can enjoy country boat ride here on direct payment
basis). Later on proceed to the Mwallynnong village. Evening return back to Shillong. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03: Shillong – Cherrapunjee

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee. en-route visit Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. Visit to Arwah Cave, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls, Garden of Caves & Thangkharang Park. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

 

Day 04: Cherrapunjee – Guwahati 

After breakfast drive from Cherrapunjee to Guwahati. The gateway to the northeast and the largest and most
cosmopolitan city in the region, Guwahati serves as the starting block for most Northeast itineraries.

 

Day 05: Guwahati Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Kamakhya temple - The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. 
Also visit Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, state Zoo. Overnight in Guwahati.

 

The next day is for transfer to the airport/railway station after breakfast.
