How can I get to Himachal Pradesh?
The three major airports are Bhuntar (near Kullu-Manali), Gaggal (near Dharamshala) and Jubbarhatti (near Shimla). You can also opt for the Kalka-Shimla toy train for a scenic route, with the nearest broad-gauge railway stations in Chandigarh and Pathankot. The state is well-connected by buses and taxis from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Punjab. Self-driving is popular but requires caution on hilly roads.
