Basic Requirements for Chinese Visa

For Tourist

• Passport with at least 6 months validity (Old passport if any)
• Duly filled visa application form
• Latest 2 passport size photographs of white background
• Personal covering letter (For employed - Plain paper/ For Self-employed - Company letterhead)
• Latest 6 months bank statement
• Income Tax returns/ Form 16 for last 3 years
• Employment proof
  1. Latest 3 months' Salary slip and NOC to leave for salaried
  2. Certificate of incorporation and GST Registration for Business person
  3. Proof of retirement for retired person
  4. Bonafide Certificate / ID card for a student.
• Hotel reservation or Invitation from relatives/family
• Confirmed flight tickets
• Day-wise itinerary

For Business

• Original Passport valid for minimum 180 Days from date of planned arrival in Mainland China with minimum 2 blank pages (passport validity must cover complete duration of stay)
• Duly filled visa application form
• Previous Cancelled or Expired Passport if any held with previous Chinese Visas (Original or Copies of passport’s bio pages with previous Chinese Visa)
• Two Photos not older than 6 months in White Background, without border, 35 x 48 mm size, Face visibility 70 to 75% covering photo frame (taken on Glossy or Semi Matt paper)
• Visa Request Letter from Indian Company on business letter head addressed to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, New Delhi”, with subject as “Request to issue Business Visa (M)” stating
  1. Place of visit, name, address and contact number of the inviting/contact company or person
  2. Purpose of visit and Travel plan
  3. Travel date
  4. Applicant’s full name and passport details
  5. Authorised signatories full name and designation
• Letter from Chinese Company or Institution not older than a month addressed to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, New Delhi”, stating
  1. Purpose of visit and Travel dates
  2. Applicant’s full name and passport details
  3. Authorised signatories full name and designation
  4. Round Seal of Chinese Company
• Copy of National ID of the signatory in Invitation
• Copy of Registration Certificate of Chinese Company
• Copy of Registration Certificate of Indian Company like GST or any other
• Proof of Covid Vaccination (at least double dose)

• Rs.10700/- (Visa fees and VFS Charges) for one year Multiple Normal
• Rs.11600/- (Visa fees and VFS Charges) for one year Multiple Express
